#GSDexcellence

Greenwood High School students recently joined forces to raise money for the Ronald McDonald House in Fort Smith. With a presentation in August by Mingyue Vass at the GHS Leadership Workshop, clubs and organizations were encouraged to raise money for RMH. Three Beta Club Members took the challenge and organized a student/faculty basketball games as a fundraiser. Players from all four grade levels took on the teachers in 8 minute quarters and money from the game admission, concession stand and a Halloween Costume Fashion Show totaled $2200.00. Before Christmas break, a check was presented to Leah Jones, President and CEO of the Arkoma Ronald McDonald House by (l to R) Madi Goodwin, Maribeth Young, Avery Roland, (Jones) and Mingyue Vass.
