Great things are happening at Greenwood Schools 👏🏻👏🏻 The Greenwood Cubing Club won both team competitions at the Guy Fenter Education Cooperative's Fall Semester Cubing Competition and took first in the advanced individual competition. Greenwood's team of Noah Brown, Dexter Coston, Grayson Geib, Beckham Presnell, and Nashton Sharum took first in the traditional 3x3 competition by solving ten standard Rubik's cubes in a little over 1 minute and 30 seconds earning the standard cubing team trophy. Greenwood also had four of the ten fastest average times in the individual competition. Students were timed while solving a traditional 3x3 cube three times to get an average completion time. Dexter Coston finished second. Nashton Sharum, Grayson Geib, and Noah Brown finished fifth through seventh. All the top ten had average solve times under 40 seconds. 👏🏻🏆⭐ In the advanced competition, Dexter Coston solved nine of ten different types of cubes in under ten minutes, winning the individual title as the only competitor able to solve that many alone. 👏🏻👏🏻 The Greenwood team of Dexter Coston, Noah Brown, Grayson Geib, Beckham Presnell, and Trevor Wilbanks solved all ten of the advanced cube types faster than any other team to earn the advanced-level trophy. 🏆🏆
