ROBOTICS TOURNAMENT SATURDAY!
The Greenwood Battle on the Border VEX IQ Tournament is Saturday, February 11th at the H B Stewart arena. There is no charge for admission and we expect 28-30 teams to compete from all over Arkansas. Doors open at 7:30 and events begin at 8:30.
This is an elementary robotics tournament where the students design, build, program and drive robots to meet the annual game challenge.
This year the game is SLAP SHOT with students challenged to score discs under a fence. It is a two part tournament, in the morning each team competes individually on driving and coding skills. The afternoon portion of the tournament consists of teams paired in alliance matches to complete the game challenge with two robots and four drivers in exactly one minute.
Come out, enjoy, and support our students! #GSDexcellence
