Thank you Greenwood Education Foundation! Nurse Turner and Mr. Maestri were selected to receive grants for their upcoming projects. The purpose of the grants is to encourage teachers to be creative and innovative in their teaching so that student learning will be enhanced beyond what is funded through the annual budget of the school system.
Nurse Turner will use her grant for incentives to encourage East Hills students to participate in a health and wellness initiative in the Spring Semester. Mr. Maestri will use his grant to purchase electric guitars and amplifiers in order to provide a more relevant and exciting music curriculum to East Hills students. Thank you again, board members, for your commitment to education!
