Septemberβs staff awards winners passed their torches on to the next round of Top Dogs.
Mrs. Asbill passed the βReason to Danceβ award on to Mrs. Becvar for giving one of her students a reason to dance. Mrs. Becvar went above and beyond to help the student find a book of high interest in the large print edition he needed.
Mrs. Hobbs passed on the βEvery Child Deserves a Championβ award to Mr. Bostick for being purposeful for their students. When making seating arrangements, Mr. Bostick took into consideration studentsβ individual strengths and weaknesses to create successful groups. He also researched every studentβs background and labeled items in his room with every their home language.
Mrs. Bryant passed on the βRedwoodβ (we canβt do this alone) award to Mr. Stewart. Mr. Stewart always seems to be in the right place at the right time. He will drop everything to help when there is a need. His expertise on how to help students deescalate is invaluable, and he is willing to share his knowledge with all.
